Heat transfer in magnetic stirring

Heat transfer involves the transfer of energy between two bodies, whether solid, liquid or gaseous. The warmer body transfers energy, i.e. heat, to the colder body. When two bodies have the same temperature, they are considered to be in thermal equilibrium.

This transfer, inducing a change in body temperature, is achieved at the microscopic level by means of magnetic stirring in many industrial fields requiring, among other things, dissolutions, homogenizations and chemical reactions.

Conduction, convection and radiation are modes of heat transfer for heating or cooling the mixture of a product.

In the case of conduction transfer, the exchange of energy takes place without displacement of matter, in contrast to convection transfer where a macroscopic displacement of thermal energy takes place through the movement of particles.
