Spalling & magnetic stirring

The action of disintegrating, i.e. decomposing a solid, is achieved by the force of the movement of a liquid produced by a magnetic stirrer equipped with a turbine.

The speed and rotation of the turbine creating a vertical vortex from top to bottom allows the disintegration of solid substances in a solvent until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.

The more or less fine dissolution until the complete decomposition of the solid product is particularly used in the field of cosmetics where the final viscosity is specific.

Magnetic agitators are a safe and high-performance solution for the disintegration of solids. It favours the use of specific dispersion turbines with a high shearing effect, at very high speed, for demanding products processed for the needs of the food industry, pharmaceuticals or cosmetics, or even the nuclear sector.
 

Why disintegrate solid products?

Beyond dissolution, the disintegration of a solid product allows to obtain a mixture of optimal quality. The fineness and unctuousness of a healing cream are criteria on which the pharmaceutical industry directs its research.

In the field of recycling, the decomposition of plastic materials is nowadays a question of the first order and their disintegration is an interesting area of research.
